Full description
A jewellery box made with reclaimed solid mahogany ,the top is veneered with natural birdseye maple and an Art Deco style symmetrical pattern formed by inlaying purple and green dyed birdseye maple all edged with a black inlay. As a feature I have inserted slithers of veneer at a dovetail angle to the corners of the box.
It has 2 partitioned trays and along with the box bottom are lined with purple suede/like material.
I have used the top quality solid brass "smarthinge" with a built-in stop,which is made in the UK.
The box measures 300mm x 160mm x 75mm and is finished in silky ,smooth clear laquer.
