I have been making a lot of bags and sachets filled with dried lavender, and although I love the scent of dried lavender, some of my friends and family do not! I wanted to make an alternative scented sachet bag for them, and have found that wax tarts for burners often have a lovely scent throw and easily scent the drawer they are kept in. I have experimented with a few different fragrances and found that this vanilla one is very popular. Even with my husband.

Full description
This pretty little scented sachet / bag has been crocheted in a gorgeous hand-dyed pure silk thread. The colour is a delicate mauve, with beautiful shading - it is not a solid colour. There are hints of lilac, mauve and rose pink within it - the colour was described as "Antique Rose" by the artisan who dyed it. I added a little Swarovski pearl to the centre of the flower for decoration.
Inside the crocheted bag is a vanilla scented wax "melt" in the shape of a rose. The melt is designed to be used in a wax tart burner, but I have included it inside this bag purely for use as a scented sachet. The vanilla fragrance comes through the bag very well, and will easily scent a drawer or enclosed space - there is a handle for looping over a clothes hanger or peg for scenting clothes. It could also be popped under a pillow for a little vanilla "fix" at bedtime!
The bag measures 7.5 cm by 7.5 cm ( 3 in by 3 in), excluding the handle.
This item will be wrapped in recycled, acid and bleed free tissue paper and a reusable gift box ( also made from recycled card).
