Buttons have a history stretching back over 3000 years. The earliest buttons were used as adornments rather than true buttons and were made from bone, horn and wood. Tree branch buttons are among these. I am proud to be one of the many that carries on the ancient tradition of making these buttons.

12 x Rustic Larch Buttons. Hand Cut Slices of Larch have been sanded smooth to bring out the beautiful grain, finished with 4 layers of Poly then polished with natural beeswax to give a smooth Glossy Sheen. Drilled through with 2 x 2mm holes.
Each button measures roughly 1 1/8" (30mm) diameter and 1/4 inch (6mm) thick.
No trees were harmed in the making of these buttons. I gather all of my wood from fallen trees and branches or use waste materials from local forestry operations.
