I love the simplicity and universality of this shape, and I know that these glazes work brilliantly together. So it was a small step to then come up with this clock!

Full description
This fish clock is decorated in rich bold very attractive orange-red and blue glazes. Because of the high temperature stoneware firings used, the glazes attractively interact and merge where they meet. The stoneware glazes used also give a unique richness and durability to the decoration that cannot be achieved in any other way.
The shape is universial, and is also known as the Christian Fish symbol or Ichthys (also Ichthus or Ikhthus).
These ceramic wall clocks are individually handmade and decorated in the UK being designed and made by New Zealand-born designer-maker John Fraser.
This particular clock has a flat face with no sides - it a handmade pottery tile. It measures 12.5 inches long by 4.5 inches high (32cm x 11.5cm). The four glaze dots are positioned for easy reading of the time. The hands are gold coloured. The movement is a quality German movement - quiet and precise.
My hope and intention is that you will find this fish-shaped wall clock both useful and beautiful.
