Full description
This pretty little pink stained glass Owl, one of my new range of engraved stained glass pieces, has been made using a beautiful deep pink stained glass. It is sure to add a beautiful note to a window in your home and it would also make a lovely gift for a friend or loved one for any occasion. This would make a lovely birthday gift for someone born in October as the beautiful glass this piece is made of is very reminiscent of the colour of Rose Zircon.
Individually hancrafted, the piece of rose pink stained glass was cut into the Owl shape and smoothed before the detailing of the owls eyes, feathers and wings were hand engraved onto the glass. Next the piece was washed before the copper foil was applied and the soldered with a hanging ring attached at the top. The piece was washed once again before being polished with a stained glass polish.
Please remember that each one of my engraved pieces will be slightly different as I'm unable to create totally identical pieces.
The size of the Owl suncatcher is approximately 16cm (6 inches) from top to bottom and 8.5cm (3 1/4 inches) from side to side.
