A lovely and substantial specimen of Iron Pyrite, or Fool's Gold if you prefer, which would make a stunning display item, desk ornament or even a pretty photography prop! Equally could be used in a crafting project.
The little squares of Iron Pyrite really capture the light and sparkle, difficult to capture in a photograph.
Approximate measurements: The specimen is irregular in shape and size and is approx 5cms by 6cms with a depth of approx 2cms.
As Iron Pyrite is weighty for its size, this specimen weighs to 93.4g in total.
For those that believe in the physical and mental properties of stones:
Iron Pyrite is a strong stone, used to promote positive thinking and manifestation.
