One early evening in mid-December great Vs of geese passed over our heads on their way to the reserve at Fairburn Ings. Although it was dark their wings were picked out by the moonlight and they looked like ghosts gliding across the sky, tied together with great skeins of thread.

“GOOSE SKEIN” is an original lino print.
Free P&P for UK buyers
It was created by the reduction method: the areas of white were cut away first, the blue printed, then all but the swathes for the darker colour were cut away and the plate was printed again in a darker blue. I use oil-based but water washable inks and Zerkal printmaking paper for this print. This is small edition of just 26 prints.
The printed area measures approximately 31x21cm. This print is supplied with a mount and backing board to fit a 30x40cm frame.
