Full description
An embroidered and felted meadow design decorates the front of the re-usable cover of this 'A6' notebook.
Sky blue wool fibers have been felted to a background of kunin felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles). A wide variety of yarn snippets, carefully collected from other yarn projects, have been added to represent the meadow. Stitching in fine cotton has been added to the sky to 'stabilise' the felting. The embroidered panel is edged in blanket stitch using threads to match the areas of the design. Simple embroidery stitches have been used to embroider daisies, buttercups and clover.
The notebook cover has been stitched in a pale blue, linen-type fabric, backed with interfacing and lined with a 'blue harebells on white' printed fabric. The supplied notebook is a standard 'A6' size and it slips into pockets in the re-usable cover. The notebook ties closed with coordinating crocheted cords.
