This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This is a special design for Mother’s Day , a Mum sign.
I have made it as a rainbow using all 7 colours and instead of the letter U I have put a big fat heart in the middle made of lovely pink glass. I've also added two little heart beads at the top of the M's.
This is a bright and cheerful message of love that any mother would love.
The 'MUM' is framed in clear, gently textured glass .
Hanging in the window it catches the light and it would make a lovely ornament for any room.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached at either side of the top of the suncatcher. It is 14cm long and 7 cm high.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
It will make a lovely Mother's Day gift but also a present for your Mum at any time of the year.
