It has been raining for days and days now. I wanted to start the New Year with a big splash of colour and my rainbow pieces are always popular so the combination of flower and rainbow seemed a perfect choice.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A brand new design I made ready for the New Year. I've sold that first one so have made another as I think it is quite stunning and very special.
This is a Rainbow Flower, bright and beautiful to fill your home with light.
The flower has 16 petals, all slightly different shapes and the colours pass through the spectrum of the rainbow, twice. In the centre is a 2 cm multi-faceted crystal - from a chandelier.
I've used lots of different textures of glass in the petals, streaky, iridescent so it has lots of movement and once that elusive sun reappears it will cast wonderful light across the room where the light catches it.
A silver coloured little chain is securely attached by solder to the top of the Flower with a little ring to hang it.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.
This piece is 15cm in diameter.

The Rainbow Flower will make a wonderful present, at anytime, for someone you love.
The 5th photo is of the first flower I made so you can see that each is unique even though to the same pattern.
