These light-hearted lino prints were inspired by a comment from my husband when I had given our dog (in his opinion) one too many cuddles!

Does your dog get more cuddles from your partner than you do? Remind your loved ones that you love them anyway with this limited edition lino print from The Enlightened Hound.
It makes a perfect gift for Anniversaries, Birthdays or Valentine’s Day.
The Sodding Dog design and typography is influenced by original 19th century show posters and fonts, but combined with a more light-hearted folk art vibe and some more modern typefaces.
The letters are all hand drawn and hand cut into the lino plates so the prints have a naive, homespun feel which makes them uniquely personal.
Printed in two under-stated shades of soft grey-brown taupe using traditional linseed oil ink (hand mixed) on heavy 175gsm printing paper in limited editions of 250 prints. All prints are numbered, titled and signed by the artist.
The image size is 285 x 392mm (11 1/4” x 15 1/2”) - including the artists signature at the bottom
Framing options: Prints are sold unframed but there are a couple of easy options when it comes to framing your print.
With a border (matt or mount): Place the print into a standard 400 x 500mm frame. You will need a mount/matt with an opening of 295 x 395 mm. The closest standard imperial frame is 16” x 20” - again with a matt/mount with an aperture of 11 3/4” x 15 3/4”
Without a border: The image will fit nicely into a standard 300mm x 400mm frame or 12” x 16” frame - you will need to trim off some excess paper around the print.
