This is a reserved custom made pair of wedding birds for my customer Gem - please do not purchase this item unless you are this customer. If you would like me to make you custom birds please get in touch as I would be delighted to hear from you! xx
I love the joyful colours used for this happy couple! The groom wears a smart charcoal grey 'suit' with a contrasting snow white felt breast. He sports a wool felt top-hat in a fabulous shade of pumpkin orange and a matching orange tie.
The beautiful bride bird is made from a vintage linen fabric with a co-ordinating soft white felt breast. She has white applique lace wings and a delicate white lace veil around which are a series of wonderfully colourful flowers each with a tiny clear bead centre. The flowers are orange, purple, sky-blue, fuchsia pink and yellow.
Both birds have black bead eyes which are mounted on little circles of white felt. Both bride and groom are made to confidently free-stand on legs made from re-purposed copper wire and each bird is firmly plumped with polyester toy filling to ensure they keep their fine form for years to come!
