Gorgeous Shabby Chic Floral Cot Quilt or Play Mat folksyspringstyle
Gorgeous cabbage rose floral cottons in fresh and bright pinks, blues, greens and yellows sewn together in strips and quilted in the ditch. Plain cornflower blue cotton on the back and co-ordinating pink and red polka dot used for the binding.
Made from 100% cotton and completely machine washable. Line dries quickly but can also be tumble dried.
I've used 4oz polyester wadding making it lightweight but still quite substantial and easy to store as it rolls up pretty small making it a good choice as a portable play mat for when visiting friends or going to the park.
Measuring 135cm (49 inches) by 86cm (34 inches) it is the ideal size for a play mat or to have as a cot quilt to snuggle under. Please note it is not advised that babies under the age of 1 sleep under a quilt.
As a a mum of two young children I do a lot of washing and the quilts I make are made to to wash on 40 degree machine wash. They line dry really quickly but they can also be tumble dried.
