Full description
We had a splendid day out at Chatsworth in Derbyshire on a lovely summers day. This wood engraving is inspired by the view from the windows of the house over the formal gardens towards the park.
Carved by hand on end-grain wood using traditional wood engraving tools and then printed by hand in black oil ink on thick Somerset paper.
The printed area measures 7.5cm x 12cm, the paper size is slightly larger.
One of an edition of 20, signed and numbered by the artist (Jon).
