This desk was given to me by an elderly neighbour who had it in his family for 30 years. It was looking rather sorry for itself and needed a bit of cheering up. So, I gave it a lick of lovely grey paint and added a vibrant splash of lime green inside to bring it back to life.
Its great when you find a piece like this as you never normally know the real history of it but this time I at least know where it has been over the last 30 years- right next door in South London! I also found a gorgeous art deco brooch buried at the back of the shelves and returned it to the owner who thought it may have belonged to his Aunt.

A lovely 1920's ladies desk. Restored and repainted in a lovely mid grey with slight distressing. Open it up and find a fab burst of lime green which gives it a contemporary twist!
Hand painted and varnished for protection.
