Full description
This two tiered necklace is really eye catching whilst still being delicate. The necklace is made up of two strands of flexible, lightweight stringing wire threaded with beads, and joined to a single piece of delicate silver plated chain for fastening. I used two kinds of beads, silver plated filigree beads and semi precious Lapis Lazuli which have been arranged alternately. The Lapis are a rich midnight blue and have a very delicate mottled pattering on them. As these beads are a semi precious stone each one unique. The silver plated filigree beads add a lovely bright sparkle to the necklace and look like frosty little ice crystals! I added silver plated tube style beads in between each bead. As these tube beads have a slight curve to them they not only look great but also help to give the necklace shape so it always sits perfectly. Finished with silver plated chain and fastens with a silver plated lobster style clasp. The necklace is made so that one of the strands sits below the other.
