Elegant All Year Crochet Chemo / Cloche Hat in Pink with Rose Flower
Suitable for all ladies with size medium head, but designed specifically as an all year hat for ladies undergoing chemotherapy.
Chemo-Friendly Size and Length:
While it can be worn over hair, this hat is sized for heads without hair. It is extra long with a cloche-flared brim and the extra length and brim cover the head completely, and much of the back of the neck, giving protection from the sun. Additionally, the bamboo itself has ultraviolet protective properties.
Chemo-Friendly Fibre:
I chose the fibre for this hat very purposefully as bamboo is probably the nicest way to cover one's head in summer (winter too for that matter!). Bamboo is a completely natural plant fibre - it is silky and soft with a beautiful lustre; it is also completely non-irritating as well as cool and gives the skin room to breathe. It is even naturally anti-bacterial. If you find that your head gets cold around the house, this will keep it a nice temperature, without getting too hot. This particular bamboo yarn is one of my favorites for my own garments, even more, because unlike other bamboo yarns, it is completely machine washable.
Process:
Each of my items is created stitch-by-stitch using nothing but a simple hook, luxurious yarn, and my very own design. This is a lovely and silky 100% bamboo yarn, exclusive of decoration. Size Medium.
