I sing in a church choir so I sing the Magnificat, Mary's Song, almost every week. If you ever thought Christianity was a bit male-dominated, staid, establishment and old-fashioned, just look at the words of this amazing feminist, radical, revolutionary text! 'He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and the rich he hath sent empty away.' That's why, although the decoration is curving, fertile and feminine, it's also sharp and sparkling. This is a card celebrating women who changed the world.

Full description
My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my saviour! This card co-ordinates with my other designs 'The Word', 'Contemporary Nativity', 'Angels' and 'Rejoice'.
My original ink drawing is reproduced on coloured card then gold and white gouache highlights are added by hand. I print onto a wide range of coloured cards: please specify if you have a preference and I will find one as close as I can. Cards are A6 (approximately 6x4 inches) and contain the message 'Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year'. Each card comes with an envelope and protected in a clear poly packet.
