The Very Hungry Caterpillar Quilt
The centre panel depicting the leaf, butterfly and caterpillar have been machine quilted using Gutermann glittery thread. The surrounding area of each picture has been machine stitched in white cotton to give it more depth and for added width a border fabric called 'Junk Food' has been used. The backing uses 'Large Caterpillars' with the spotty border to coincide with the main panel on the front and has stitched vertical rows to give the wadding more stability. It is bound in spotty fabric and blanket stitched.
