I like to combine elements of traditional pottery with modern ceramic design. I fire all my ceramics to stoneware temperature so that they are durable and will last for many years despite their delicate forms. This little blue bird dish was inspired in part by my mother's drawing of a bird which I loved as a child. These have been really popular as presents for women of all ages - let me know if you'd like a gift tag including with your message.

Full description
This little blue bird ceramic dish has a flower in its eye and flowery blue wings. It would be a sweet birthday or housewarming present.
Keep it by the sink or bed and it will look after your rings and little things. Use it as a candle holder to light things up at night, or use it in your bathroom as a soap dish.
Each little bird is unique. Its features were individually stamped and its shape was handmade by me. It is made from strong textured cream white clay and fired to stoneware temperature, so it is strong, despite its delicate form. Its pretty features are emphasized by the gorgeous glossy blue glaze which contrasts with the pale clay.
It measures approx 10 x 9 x height 2.5cm (4 x 3.5 x height 1 inches)
Please note, I made a few of these, so the one you receive may vary very slightly, but will be extremely similar to the one pictured in the main image and I promise that it will be equally pretty!
