I was so glad when I spotted this yarn in one of my local haberdashery shops. The pink is just so darn pretty. It reminds me a little of confectionary - things like macaroons and dainty little cakes.
As I can’t make those using yarn ( yet! ) I thought it would look just as lovely made up into my signature flower corsages.

A crochet brooch handmade to a pattern of my own design using yarn by
Twilleys of Stamford, from the Freedom Gorgeous range, and is a mix of 70% bamboo and 30% nylon.
The yarn is a lovely sugar/almond pink and consists of 3 layers, finished at the centre with a a candy pink pearlescent vintage button.
Bamboo is a natural, sustainable and renewable resource which produces super soft yarn that feels almost like silk and has a natural sheen.
It measures approximately 2.75 in / 7 cm at its widest point and is finished on the back with a 1 and 1/4 inch silver toned safety rolling catch bar pin - please note the brooch back was electroplated with a composite nickle-silver alloy.
