I want to make designs for my ceramic bowls that have elements of traditional style with a modern touch. I added the teal glaze because it is a classic colour and one of my favourites. I hope that this has created a timeless look that won't date so that they can be used and enjoyed for years to come.

These bowls were featured in The Guardian gift guide!
There are many uses for this little pottery bird bowl. Keep it by your bed to keep earrings safe, use it as a little soap dish or put a little candle in it at night.
The colour and texture inside are so pretty you might decide to keep it empty for decoration.
I pressed vintage lace into the clay whilst it was still soft to create intricate pattern and texture in the surface of this little bird, and added teal blue green glaze to the imprints.
The underside is unglazed with a little fabric texture.
It measures approx 3.5 x 4 inches and is 1.25 inches tall.

Although I have made a couple of these, the one you will receive is unique, and may vary slightly. However, I promise that it will be very very similar and equally pretty.
