Full description
Misty Morning - a hand bound embroidered journal, in soft beige-grey wool felt. Lined with smokey grey suede leather, hand embellished. Filled with handmade paper, for your secrets, thoughts and ideas. (Note, this is not a machine-made notebook with a felt cover - the whole book is hand made!)
Book Details:
A wrap-round cover of beige-grey wool felt, lined with a fine, butter-soft smokey grey suede.
Embellished with leather in grey and dark turquoise, silk pieces in deep aqua, black and creamy white. Hand embroidered with silver metallic threads and silk embroidery floss.
There are three small polished semi-precious stone beads and a silver coloured metal bead, attached to the cover. It fastens with a metallic silver button and has a rustic-style buttonhole, cut into the leather and hand stitched in grey-brown linen thread.
The book contains 30 pages (60 sides) of heavy weight, off-white hand made cotton rag paper, with natural deckled edges.
Hand sewn Longstitch binding, in grey-brown waxed linen thread, with silver metal beads at either end of the spine.
The outside dimensions are 6.25 x 5 (16 x 12 cm) approx, the pages measure approx 6 x 4.25 (15 x 11 cm).
This journal is an individually created artist book - there will never be another the same, so you will own a unique item.
