Poppy Trellis Elf child's long Crocheted Hat scarf with Crocheted looping tassel & poppy detail, to give it that little finishing touch! Approx 3 to 6 years of age.
The super long length allows the scarf element to wrap around the neck, or of course it can worn it at a jaunty angle, slung casually over the shoulder.
Crocheted in 100% Acrylic & mixed blend yarns, the main body of the hat is black, with a crocheted variegated green trellis & bright red poppies with black button centres, hand sewn to the scarf in a pretty design.
This lovely crocheted hat is washable with care at 30'C, but I would suggest hand washing and shaping whilst damp.
Crocheted in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the tip of the point and increasing down to the body of the hat, so there are not lots of knots in the hat, there are no seams or joins, (except the sewn on decoration detail) in the body of the hat. It has been crocheted on a medium size crocheted hook, to give a loose Stitch, and completed with a securely attached crocheted tassel.
This is a hat for the discerning child, approx age 3 to 6 years,(depending on your child) with a love of the unique and unusual and is yet very practical, being both a hat and scarf all in one item.
Approximate measurements: Modelled on my 12 yr old daughter, but of course too small for her, when laid flat the hat measures approx 23cms at its widest point and the full length of the hat, to the tip of the tassel is approx 79cm.
