I wanted to make a phone cover using the vintage blanket so began experimenting with it. After doodling with the idea of a circle i came up with the design. I felt it worked so well that I decided to carry on and try to reproduce the idea in a range of different colours. This is the first one so look out for new colours in the future. The embroidery is free style in that it is not planned out - I just keep doodling with the threads and see where it takes me!

Full description
Made using recycled vintage blanket and hand dyed to produce a variable colours of mauve and deep lilac this mobile phone cover is hand embroideded on both sides using a variety of threads. Lightly padded with cotton wadding it has a cotton lining with a rainsplash pattern in pale lilac. Measuring 8cm wide and 14cm long it comfortably fits a phone such as a Nokia 6303i classic.
