Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A pretty design of a simple little white dove in flight.
The dove is made from very streaky white glass with some iridescent to give it movement and make it shine in the light.
The dove hangs by nylon thread from a little ring which is securely soldered to the top of the suncatcher. It is 4.5 inches long.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and/or textures of glass.
The 1st photo is of this little dove sold here. Lovely to see a bright blue sky this morning for my dove's first flight.
The 2nd is of the dove sold previously and I've included a 3rd photo showing a flight of 6 doves I have just made someone for an order - to hang on their conservatory windows to deter birds from flying into them.
