Countdown to Christmas with this beautiful quilted Scandinavian style advent calendar with 24 numbered pockets.
A classic design with traditional Nordic style images including hearts, Christmas trees, baubles, presents, reindeer and houses all in elegant shades of cream, red, and green enhanced with a gold metallic finish.
There are 24 pockets on the calendar in a random order to fill with little gifts, messages, sweets or chocolates.
In addition to the pockets, the calendar has been backed with wadding and quilted to further enhance the shape of the design.
It is finished with a co-ordinated red 100% cotton backing fabric and has two loops of green and gold ribbon through which a garden cane or similar rod or dowel can be inserted to enable easy hanging.
Finished size is approx 55cm (21.5") x 56cm (22")
Each pocket is 8cm x 9.5cm (3x4"), with the pockets on the bottom row measuring 12 x 8cm (5x3").
Scandinavian style items are very popular at the moment. This advent calendar would make a lovely gift and is sure to become a firm favourite year after year.
