I started writing stories for children a while ago now and having many times been fascinated by the comings and goings of the little mice on the tracks in the London Underground and Paris Metro, I thought their little communities would make a great setting for stories. I wondered what the mice would think of the world of humans and decided to put my ideas down on paper and make a whole community of little mice to go with the stories - so here they are!

Full description

Jean Philippe Auguste is a little French mouse wearing blue velvet trousers and a blue and white striped shirt. He has a red checked scarf and a royal blue beret. He comes in a jute carry bag decorated with his name.

The Metro Mice are two communities of inquisitive little mice, who spend their lives trying to discover more about the world around them. They attempt to understand the nature of the humans they see each day, dashing about above their little word and they often try to answer the really big questions in life.

One community of mice live in the subterranean passages of the Paris Metro and their cousins, in England, live in a tangle of passageways beneath the London Underground. Within these two communities, there are many different families - each family bearing the name of the station in which they have made their home.

Metro Mice stories are also available at a minimal cost. The little books along with the mice would make lovely gifts for young children or indeed anyone who is young at heart!

Metro Mice are approx 28cm tall and are unsuitable for children under 3 because of small decorations.
