applique and embroidered hoop art – wintery penguin.
based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, this design is entirely made by me on a domestic sewing machine.
it features a cute little pengiun against a grey snowy sky. the penguin is in a printed floral fabric, with a white cotton tummy, and tiny orange beak and flipper detail. he's flapping about in a white cotton snow flurry against a grey linen sky.
the fabrics are layered onto pre-washed calico, before i draw detail onto them with free machine (free motion) embroidery.
everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each hoop is unique, well made and securely constructed.
these hoops are 11cm (4”) in diameter, and are backed with blue felt.
i aim to post items out within 24 hours of payment, via first class mail. if ordering more than one item, any excess shipping charges will be refunded through paypal.
