ArchiTrait is based in rural Herefordshire and is run by Elly Deacon Smith, a qualified architect and mum to two young girls. Inspired by the sketches she produces of her own designs, Elly set up ArchiTrait to create beautiful and unique illustrations of your favourite buildings and special places. By adding names and dates to her sketches, Elly is able to create beautiful personalised gifts that will mark special occasions with an illustration that can be enjoyed forever.

Working from your photo, Architrait will produce a stylish and contemporary house portrait as the perfect birthday, anniversary or housewarming gift.
Choosing a personalised house sketch as a gift will not only demonstrate the thought and consideration you have put into your choice, but will also provide the receiver with a lasting memory of a special place that can be enjoyed forever.
After hand sketching the building I will use the computer to add areas of flat colour that bring the image to life and create a focus on the building. I will include the name of the property in the bottom corner of the print (usually the first line of the address, although the wider location can also be added if required). Each print will then be mounted and framed in a high quality timber frame.
Frames are available in your choice of white, black or oak. The overall frame dimension is 30.5cm x 25.5cm (12" x 10") and the image size will be 20.5cm x15cm (8" x 6").
Please note that this is a sketch, so colours and details will not be copied exactly.

Please provide a high resolution image of the house in jpeg, png or pdf format (the photo should be clear when blown up to 15cm across the longest edge). The image provided should be of the exact view you would like to be drawn. I can only draw the building as it is photographed so if there are walls or plants obscuring part of the building then I will draw these in outline.
