After throwing pots on the wheel, I like to turn them upside down and trim excess clay off the outside of the pot to make neat little foot rings. On this particular bowl I have created two rings inside the footring which mimic the footring itself. I have also loosely used the brown slip to accentuate the ribbing detail.

Full description
Hand thrown on the wheel, with a circular pattern footring, this bowl has a ribbed texture with a brown slip detail on the outside. The glaze is clear / off-white with a crackle and a slight sheen. The clay is stoneware clay and has a speckle.
It measures 11cm in diameter and is 10cm tall.
Perfect for keeping garden-picked flowers, treasures, or simply display on a feature wall. The ribbed bowl in my shop has matching detail.
