After throwing pots on the wheel, I like to turn them upside down and trim excess clay off the outside of the pot to make neat little foot rings. On this particular bowl I have created two rings inside the footring which mimic the footring itself. I have also loosely used the brown slip to accentuate the ribbing detail.

Full description
Hand thrown on the wheel, with a circular pattern footring, this bowl has a ribbed texture on the outside and a brown slip detail at the base of the bowl. The glaze is clear / off-white with a crackle and a slight sheen. The clay is stoneware clay and has a speckle.
It measures 15cm in diameter and is 7cm tall.
Perfect for keeping treasures in, or simply display on a feature wall. The vase in my shop has matching ribbing and slip detail.
