Autumn is here, it’s colder already and the Owl is the motif of the moment. The clip design is one I first created a while ago but as it looks just perfect teamed with this gorgeous, soft, hand crochet Aran wool scarf I thought I would package one with it .
The scarf is worked in Tunisian crochet which is a technique where the stitches are mounted on a special crochet hook for one row and then released on the following row. The oatmeal colour Aran wool mix yarn is lovely and super soft, the scarf is machine washable. Very generous length plus fringing.
The unique owl clip is worked and painted with leather tools and dyes on hand cut vegetable tanned leather. It attaches easily through the crochet mesh and will keep the wearer really snug.
Length approx. 190cm x 18cm (plus fringes 30cm)
