This little rabbit dreams of becoming a REAL rabbit - she heard the story of The Velveteen Rabbit when she was just a wee kitten (she informs me that that is the correct name for a baby rabbit and not a bunny as I once mistakenly called her). So she hops from one window sill to the other, dreaming of leaping through fields of fresh grass, and long lazy days in the warm sun....
MADE TO ORDER - please allow up to 7 days for me to make a little rabbit especially for you.
This little rabbit is made from Osnaburg, but has a little blue spotty tummy and ears made from a soft cotton fabric. She has been dyed with strong coffee, baked in the oven, then gently sanded to give her a wonderfully vintage appearance. She stands about 20cm tall, and has a little needle-felted bob-tail which helps her to stand quite happily unsupported. She has embroidered eyes and little nose, and would look lovely on an old bookcase or amongst a collection of old toys.
Little spotty rabbit was stitched on an old Singer treadle sewing machine using one of my own patterns. She is intended as a decorative item and is not intended for children.
