Garden Tool Bag - Recycled-Vintage-Repurposed
This vintage bag is made from a repurposed, upcycled vintage box camera case.
Probably from the 1950's or even earlier. Considering it's age (about the same as mine) it is in excellent condition (unlike me).
All gardeners have there favourite gadgets be it a penknife, secateurs even a ball of string!
I have repurposed this bag with this in mind, it makes an ideal gift for a gardener, man or woman.
I've been using cameras to make clocks, (see my other items) sometimes the cameras come with bags that are just too good to throw out.
This example made from canvas with leather trimmings and strap is in excellent condition apart from a few faulty decorative stitches.
Admittedly it's not exactly suitable at a ballroom or disco but with its heavy duty masculine looks it is ideal around the garden.
In order to facilitate easy access to a ball of gardeners twine I've added a metal eyelet.
The adjustable strap is around 20" long making it ideal to carry round the neck, off the shoulder or just hang it on the shed door.
Measures 6 x 3.5 x 5 inches
