I have used my ‘Textured Range' design to make a whole array of useful and practical kitchen ware. Some people have just one item from the range, while others have been buying a whole bunch of items. I also try to have a wide price range so that no-one feels priced out.
I am a firm campaigner for British, hand crafted goods, and I always try to source gifts and things for my home from fellow crafters.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description

This lovely heat mat was made in my studio in Devon, and is part of my 'Textured Range'. It is the perfect size for a large saucepan or wok, or perhaps a placemat.

The heat mat is made using small balls of clay which are then pressed with various imprints, (I use wicker baskets, corrugated card, a meat masher, anything I can get lay hands on!) these are then laid within a circle ring. I then smooth the back of the mat using more clay. The mat was then fired to 980'C.

The glaze is a stoneware glaze called 'Symphony Blue’, I covered the mat in this glaze and then 'washed it back' this left the raised parts of the pattern the natural white-ish colour of the clay. The heat mat was then fired again, this time to 1220'C.

Size- the mat is 24cm across

The back has been covered in black felt to protect any delicate surfaces.
