Full description
This is a unique stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
This design is my husband Bob's favourite and he refers to it as my rose window design.
It comprises a flower with 12 outer glass petals in 3 vibrant shades and textures of red and 3 of purple and 12 smaller inner petals in 4 different shades of green. The centre is a clear glass nugget with a green swirl for added effect.
I designed and made this for a commission to match the fabric in a bedroom and was so pleased with it I immediately made another in these brighter colours and added it to my 'catalogue'.
This makes a fantastic and a very individual present.
It looks absolutely stunning hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room.
The flower hangs from a little chain which is securely attached at the top of the suncatcher.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. This piece includes 24 separate pieces of glass and is approximately 5 inches in diameter.
I've included 4 photos of this flower. The 5th is of a previous one I made so you can see that each is unique even though the same design.
I can make this design in other colour combinations if you prefer, if so please contact me.
