This was designed as a birthday present for a friend who has a tearoom on a station.
Equally good for coffee as tea !

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a teacup, or if you prefer, a coffee cup, standing on a saucer.
A new design made as a special gift for my friend who has a tearoom on Great Malvern Station. It now hangs in the window there.
I liked it so much I added it to my 'catalogue'.
This one is made from bright blue and turquoise glass and is decorated in the middle of the cup with glass nuggets in matching colours.
For the top of the cup I have used lovely wavy glass which looks like steam rising from a hot drink.
The teacup is 5 inches wide by 4 inches and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely soldered to either side of the cup.
It looks super hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely and very unique present.
Please note though this is made of glass and is not a toy.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece even when making the same pattern.
I have included a 5th picture of the original version of the cup I made, this one personalised with the tearoom name which I have painted and baked on.
