Don't you just love the haunting sound of a cello? Even if you don't, my meerkat cellist is guaranteed not to disturb the peace!
The musician meercat is about 18 cm tall (7 inches) but of course is seated to play his handknitted musical instrument, perched on a cotton reel!
I've wired legs, tail and arms, and sewn the bow to the paw. The cello itself is separately knitted, and the other arm is able to be repositioned on the chord of your choice.
