Full description

Flowers as you've never seen them before!

This striking piece was inspired by Allium flowers and created using innovative machine embroidery techniques. Shadows add a fascinating extra dimension.

The blooms have been made by free machine embroidering on dissolvable fabric. Each flower head is built up of several lacy layers so that they have depth and cast intriguing shadows which alter and shift with the lighting.

A very unusual contemporary take on a floral theme.

The piece is presented in a deep frame of white painted wood, measuring 31.5cm x 31.5cm x 4.5cm on the outside. The mount board is lightly textured white with the artwork displayed in a 18cm square aperture. The frame is glazed with high quality Plexiglass for excellent visual properties and protection combined with lightness and safety.

N.B. The mountboard and background are WHITE, although they may appear otherwise in some of the photos due to lighting variations.
