I only recently discovered alexandrite, and I think this purple colour is so lovely.
I made some earrings with it and this is my first necklace using this lovely gemstone. I think the freshwater pearls look great with it.

Full description
I have used these alexandrite 8mm beads in a beautiful shade of purple, and separated them with silver coloured freshwater rice pearls.
The result is quite stunning and wonderfully colourful for all season that you choose.
I have finished this one of a kind necklace with a silver coloured toggle clasp, which makes it so easy to put on and take off - no more fiddling with tricky catches!
Overall length is around 44 cms - 17.5 inches
