MADE TO ORDER - please allow up to 7 days for me to make a velveteen Daschund especially for you x
'Put your toys in your basket Scruffy, we have a visitor coming in a minute!'
'Who?’ Scruffy asks looking most indignant with my old slipper hanging from the corner of his mouth.
'Dexter..I don't think you have met him before. He's a Daschund'.
'He can't dash faster than me!’ Scruffy said as he began chasing around in circles so fast he was beginning to make me feel dizzy.
'No Scruffy, a Dashund...you know... a sausage dog'.
'Oh' replied Scuffy, as he retrieved the slipper that had flown to the corner of the room.
'I'm sure to like him then as I love sausages', he replied with a wistful expression as he continued the tidy his toys....just in time.
Dexter is made from a beautiful chocolate coloured velveteen. He has old boot buttons for eyes and a little stitched nose and mouth. He is a proud little dog, standing 27cm tall, and very smart on his vintage red Meccano wheels. He is 35cm long, from the tip of his nose to his tail.
He wears a little cotton neckerchief around his neck, and has a big old rusty bell on his 'pull along' cord.
He was stitched on my old Singer treadle sewing machine and is intended as a decorative collectors item. He is not a toy and is unsuitable for children.
