I love red and black: they're not traditional colours for baby shoes but I don't see why not!

I just had to do it. Black and red are such a strong combination and babies look amazing in vibrant colours. These are stunning: the red is a very pure, classic 50s lipstick red while the black is almost matt. Both are pure silk! I've added a little red ribbon tab at the back, which can either be used for putting the shoes on or, if you like, I will add a red or black ribbon (polyester alas) of your choice, so they can be wrapped around those chubby adorable little ankles. Am I the only person who thinks fat baby ankles are wonderful?!
Size wise, these are petite:baby feet no longer than 9cm and so probably up to 6 months old, although please convo me to double check width and length - I'd hate anyone to be disappointed if they didn't fit! Plus my daughter's feet were miniscule until, erm, well they still are.
These are all sewn in a smoke-free, pet-free home by me, Susan. I am a trained corset-maker, apprentice iconographer but love to make baby things after my daughter inspired me (and kept me on the couch for a year).
