Full description
A beautiful, one-of-a-kind jewel with really unusual decoration, which is identical on both sides of the ring. Inspired by the ‘silhouette’ of a traditional 5-gemstone set ring, the decoration is at the side of the ring rather than on the top, creating a pretty ‘pleated’ effect in silver across the top of the ring.
Handmade in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The 5mm wide band is constructed from silver wire, then silver rods and the central silver stone setting are soldered into place. Then I have set gorgeous Blue Topaz gemstones on both sides of the ring, at either end of the setting, so that the light shines through both, giving a lovely blue glow.
As this design is one-of-a-kind, the ring is only available in one size, a UK size O. This size has an internal diameter measurement of approximately 18mm.
Hallmarked with my own maker’s mark at the London Assay Office and presented in a Claire Wood Designer Jeweller gift box.
