Full description
A really stunning cushion made from a rare unused wedding kimono silk fabric sample from the 1990's. (This cushion is indigo in it's darkest points - not black). The reverse of this cushion is in vintage indigo silk kimono fabric with hand-painted blossoms.
I hope you can display and enjoy this cushion as if a beautiful work of art or sculpture. Much of the cloth I use is hand embroidered or hand-printed and I think this is a wonderful way of preserving such an ancient and revered craft.
