Full description
Enjoy your breakfast in hand made style with these neat Oak egg cups. Breaking away from the standard 'goblet' style of egg-cup these feature an inner bowl with a curve sympathetic to the shape of an egg and are designed so that a medium to large egg seats just right. The outer rim provides an ideal rest for soldiers, spoon, the top of the egg and even a pinch of salt. Their low centre of gravity and wide base makes them ideal for kids (or even clumsy adults!) and should a yolk eruption occur due to over zealous soldier dipping, your table remains 'unyolked'.
Finish is my own blend of 100% natural oils and waxes (beeswax, carnauba wax & food grade walnut oil - all edible ingredients). Washable, and the finish is easy to maintain at home with simple walnut oil, available from most supermarkets and health food shops. Full instructions on care are provided. Contains Nut Oils!
Dimensions are approximately 4 inch / 100mm wide by 1 inch / 25mm high.
