Full description
I love the colour and shape of this cute little handbag. The A-line design was inspired by the yarn as it only required one 100g skein to knit. I like to use something recycled when I can, and the pink lining fabric complements perfectly the many shades of purple in the yarn. A lovely gift!
The handbag is knitted in gorgeous chunky 100% cotton yarn made by Araucania, which has thick and thin sections, giving a lovely bumpy texture. The flower embellishments are crocheted in pink 100% wool 4ply yarn, and the handles are made of bamboo. The lining is recycled from my daughters' old princess dressing-up costume and is 100% polyester satin.
The main body of the bag measures 26cm (10in) at the widest part and is 23cm (9in) tall. The top of the bag is 23cm (8in) wide. The handle adds an extra 8cm (3in) of height.
All my items are designed by me and are unique, I will not make another one the same!
Please handwash your handbag and dry flat to keep it looking lovely.
