This is a one off necklace featuring exclusive art glass beads, blue obsidian, Swarovski crystal and sterling silver.
The beautiful rondelle beads are hand crafted art glass fired by glass artist Shirley Grosser. Each bead is a work of art in it's own right. The beads are clear with streaks of ocean blues and some rusty dark reds, just beautiful in sunlight.
Each bead has been hand wired with sterling silver and a random selection of pale Swarovskis to keep the light effect. In between the art glass rondelles there are hand wired blue obsidian beads. The obsidian is a pale aquamarine colour and quite beautifully faceted to catch the light and give some additional sparkle. (Blue obsidian is reputed to aid mystic skills and protect travellers.)
The necklace fastens with a secure sterling silver clasp which attaches to a rather pretty heart shaped link. In addition this necklace can also double up as a rather gorgeous bracelet if you just wrap it twice around your wrist!
Length approx 16.5 inches. (47 cms) Sits beautifully at the base of the neck
