Spring Gold Hand Knitted, Crocheted and fully lined handbag, with an envelope flap over front & sparkling Goldtone button detail.
A unique handbag, hand knitted, crocheted sewn by myself, to my own design, made with two differing coloured yarns, a pretty, bright fresh spring green & Golden flecked yarn.
The main body of the handbag has been knitted, with both the yarns together, to form a mottled effect in simple pearl & knit, then the edges of the handbag have been crocheted together & crocheted along the front edges of the envelope flap over front.
The handbag has a crocheted shoulder strap in both yarns & then edged in the spring green alone & securely sewn to the sides of the handbag.
I have fully lined the handbag with 100% white cotton, creating a button hole in the flap over envelope closure.
The handbag can be hand washed, I would suggest with cold water & drying flat to ensure it keeps its shape.
The bag itself is roughly rectangular, approximate measurements: 28cms in width at the base and approx 19.5cms in height from top to base, with the handbag closed. The width of the short shoulder strap is approx 4cms.
This simple style handbag, with its golden hints and sparkle button detail will go with so many outfits & is just what every lady should have at her disposal. I felt this handbag would be perfect for all seasons or just for someone with a love of anything quirky and unique.
