In March of 2011, in my home country Australia, many country towns and the city of Brisbane were inundated with floods. So many people were affected and lives were lost. I felt helpless reading the news from far away, unable to physically do anything.
This painting is my offering to the victims of the floods, some of whom are my closest friends. Initial sales of this print raised over £200 which I donated in the form of paints, paper and essential clothing to the children of Queensland who had lost all their possessions.

Hope is a light inside that keeps us going even in the darkest of moments.
This is a high quality archival giclée print of my original watercolour painting, desgined to last a lifetime.
You may choose to have with or without the words I wrote included on the print. Each print comes with a matching bookmark.
Hope ... beyond the storm clouds, after the rain... the light will shine again.
The image is approximately 6 x 9 (17 x 23cm) and the paper is 8 x 11 (21 x 29cm), which is A4 size, leaving a lovely white border for framing.
Printed on the finest quality acid-free archival Hahnemuhle 310gsm matte paper; a beautiful thick paper with a texture like the original watercolour paper. It is like the Rolls Royce of papers! The inks are archival Epson pigment inks and guaranteed not to fade for over 120 years.
The print is signed, titled and dated under the image.
Each print is packaged with love in a rigid mailer and protected by a plastic sleeve. Orders shipped within 2 days from the time of payment.
